Worship Setlist: April 17, 2011

Sunday was incredible. Something is indeed stirring in our church, and I hope you sense it. Every week for the past month, the Spirit has done something just a little extra, a little more special, and it’s beautiful to watch and experience. This past Sunday, Bruce taught on wisdom. God is waiting with open hands to give us His wisdom, if only we ask in faith. It was a great message, and you can watch it here if you missed it. Mark challenged people to be bold (see what I did there?) and come pray down front. Not to make people look at them but rather to step out and be leaders obedient in prayer.

The response?

Droves of people (maybe 15%) came forward to kneel and pray. Mothers embracing daughters, husbands bent over their families, friends huddled together. The healing and transformation in the room was almost palpable. It was awesome. We ran out of time in both services, and the majority of the people stayed and worshiped with us through the last song. Because they wanted to.

I’m learning amazing things about our church, myself, and God. It was all Him. Every bit of it. He stirred the hearts of every one of us who participated, and He drew us together as a body and strengthened us. I’m so glad it’s not on my shoulders to do that.

Here are the songs we sang in The Bridge:
