Worship Setlist: January 9, 2011

We had two great worship services yesterday at The Bridge. God’s Spirit was so rich as we worshiped Him. Our senior pastor, Dr. Bruce Chesser, taught us about the most vile king ever to reign, Manasseh. His story is found in 2 Kings 21 and 2 Chronicles 33. He rejected the righteous ways of his father, Hezekiah, and rebelled against the Lord. But when Manasseh “entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers”, God heard his plea and “brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.” God restored and redeemed all the damage incurred by this king’s treachery. Because he humbled himself before his mighty God. It’s a powerful lesson.
